Recipe in making Asham
This Jamaican recipe known as ashram is the same recipe used in making Dankwa a street food in Nigeria, very easy and tasty.

Corn
granulated sugar/brown sugar
Method
In a heavy pan deep fry the corn for 15-20 min, stirring continuously, until the corn is dark brown after then blend or use your local mortar and pestle to ground the corn.you can also use a food processor if available,sieve your blended corn through a sieve to remove shaft of corn that is not smoothly grounded then add your brown sugar or granulated sugar to the corn and stir in.your Asham is ready.Enjoy!
