Africa is blessed with immeasurable natural resources and opulent environments. It is naturally endowed with productive land and with valuable natural resources (renewable and non-renewable resources) amongst these are nutritional fruits we have been blessed with.

We have gathered the list of some popular fruits in Africa
- Dates:
Date which is commonly known as date palm or phoenix dactylifera, is a flowering plant species in Arecaceae which is cultivated for its edible sweet fruit. Dates are widely cultivated and popular across Northern Africa, the Middle East and South Asia.

- Bananas:
Bananas are edible fruit produced by several large redolent plants in the genus Musa. The fruit is variable in size, colour and firmness, but it is usually redolent and curved, with soft flesh rich in starch covered with a rind; they come in green, yellow, red, purple, or brown when ripe.

- Orange:
Orange is a fruit gotten from varieties of citrus species; it primarily refers to as Citrus x sinensis, which is also called sweet orange, Orange trees are largely grown in tropical and subtropical climates for their sweet fruit.

- African cherry:
It is a forest fruit tree commonly found throughout tropical Africa, it is homogenous to africa star apple. It is largely popular across West Africa countries.

- Pineapple:
Pineapple is a tropical plant with an edible fruit. The Pineapple is the only cultivated fruit whose mainstream runs completely through it.

- Figs:
The botanical name for fig is Ficus carica, it is a specie of flowering plant in the mulberry family.
