How to prepare a delicious fish-stuffed akara
Already used to the normal akara recipe? Here is how you can add a twist to your akara with a completely new delicious taste.
3/4 cup Beans Flour
1 White Fish Fillet
1 Large Egg
1 teaspoon of black pepper
A handful of Chopped Onions
1 teaspoon of chilli powder
1 Seasoning Cube
1/2 cup of water
- Wash and dice the fish into small squares while you season it with half a seasoning cube and black pepper then set aside.
- Mix the beans flour, egg, chilli powder, onions, half a seasoning cube and water till it forms a semi thick batter. Place the fish squares in the mix.
- Put oil in a pan and place on medium heat for deep frying.
- Scoop each fish with some of the misture using a spoon and place int the hot oil to deeo fry for 4 minutes till it turns brown.
Serve your fish-stuffed Akara hot!
