How to make your homemade Ampesi
This Ghana main meal is prepared using Unripe plantain,yam,cassava or cocoyam with pear used in garnishing and Kontomire stew.its rich in carbohydrates
- unripe plantain
- 2 tbsp salt
Peel your yam, cocoyam and wash them clean before putting into a cooking pot.Half fill the cooking pot with water then peel your unripe plantain, wash them and arrange them on top of the yam and cocoyam add reasonable amount of salt and Boil over high heat for about 10 minutes.Pour out the water and set aside The ampesi is ready.serve with Kontomire stew.
