Fibroids are unusual growths that occur in or on a woman’s uterus. In some cases, these growths can be large which could cause massive flow of menstrual periods and excessive abdominal pain.

The cause of Fibroid is unknown but overtime research has shown that some food could trigger the growth and some of these foods include:
- Alcohol :
Excessive consumption of alcohol can lead to inflammation of the body. Decreasing your alcohol intake could help boost a healthy hormonal balance.
- Soy:
Soy possesses phytoestrogens; they are compounds that act like oestrogens in the body. In a situation you battle with high oestrogen, there is a possibility you get fibroid, as high oestrogen helps to increase the growth of fibroid.
- Salty foods:
Salty foods are usually vigorous on your liver and that is the organ that is responsible for removing toxins and balancing hormones.
- Caffeine:
Excessive caffeine places unpleasant stress on your liver and this could disrupt the organ from doing its work and function the way it should.
- Processed Sugar:
Excessive intake of sugar can lead to inflammation and weight gain; which in turn can result to hormonal imbalance.
- Processed Carbohydrates:
Foods such as white rice, cakes, cookies, pasta and white bread can disrupt oestrogens levels which can make fibroid to increase in size.
- High-Fat Dairy Products:
