Ever heard of Gizzdodo,here is a simple way to make it

Gizzdodo is a tasty dish sauce commonly consumed in Nigeria,this sauce name was coined from the two main ingredients.very interesting and sumptuous,gizzdodo has found it’s way across the heart of many Nigerians.it can be served with Basmati rice or pasta

Ingredients

Ripe plantain

Vegetable oil

Gizzard

Green bell pepper

red bell pepper

Fresh pepper (grounded)

Salt

Seasoning cube

Onions

Preparation

Wash your gizzards and slightly cook over a medium heat,when its cooked set aside.peel and chop your plantain.set a skillet on a medium heat,when the oil is heated then stir in your chopped plantain and lightly fry on both side then pour into a paper towel to drain the excess oil.Now put back your skillet with oil on a medium heat,now add your fresh ground pepper and let it fry for 5 -10min after which you add your salt,seasoning cube and other spice you would like to add then taste if the taste is ok Now add your gizzard and let it fry for 10 min while stirring if the water from the pepper is dried up, add your plantain,diced green bell pepper,red pepper and the onions and let it simmer for additional 2-3minutes,on a low heat and your gizzdodo is ready to serve with rice or pasta.Enjoy!
