How to make Coconut ice
This south African tasty pudding is another mouth watering dessert that is sure going to satisfy your taste bud, The dish looks beautiful with both pink and white color giving it a feel of two in one ice cream.It is a favorite among kids , because of its attractive look and tasty flavors. Basically, a lot of condensed milk, icing sugar, cream of tartar and coconut is used to prepare the dish. Also, a little bit of food coloring is added to achieve the bright pink color of it.
Ingredients
- gluten-free pure icing sugar, sifted
- cream of tartar
- can sweetened condensed milk
- 3cups desiccated coconut
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- Rose-pink food colouring
Method grease your pan and set aside now sift icing sugar and cream of tartar in a large bowl,add your sweetened condensed milk,desiccated coconut and vanilla extract then mix well until they are well mixed.Now divide the mixture into 2 equal half then mix one part with the pink colouring and leave the other half plain.Press plain mixture over base of prepared pan, levelling top with the back of a spoon. Press pink mixture over plain mixture, levelling top with spoon. Cover. Chill for 3 hours or until thickened then cut into cubes to consume.Enjoy your dessert
