Steps to making a perfect Kelewele
Kelewele is made out of chopped ripe plantains; it is then fried until it becomes brown.
- Vegetable oil
- Black pepper
- 1 onion
- Ripe plantain
- Red pepper
- Blend garlic, seasoning, nutmeg, black pepper, ginger and salt into paste, Allow it fry on medium heat
- Try reduce the heat from time to time so as not to allow it get burnt
- It can be eaten with groundnut or peanut.
