Easy homemade (Akpan)dish
While it’s a known fact that benin is known for its cultural savoury cuisines,Akpan or akassa as it is called is another of benin distinct cultural meal accompanied with adokougbi and braised fish.Akpan is a dish made out of fermented cornmeal and typically served as the base for a stew.
Ingredients
- fermented corn flour
- Cold water
- hot water
Method
Mix the cold water and the cornflour,Mix well until the mixture is well incorporated and lump free.Pour the cornflour into the boiling water.Cook for 5 mins or until the cornflour thickens Serve with Adokougbi or braised fish.
